Chaos erupted in Huntington Beach, California Saturday afternoon when a helicopter spiraled out of control and crashed into a row of palm trees — narrowly missing pedestrians on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Witness videos show the chopper spinning violently in midair before slamming down near the beach bridge crossing, just steps from the Hyatt Regency and Waterfront Resort.

One man who barely escaped death wrote on social media:

“I was literally underneath the helicopter as it crashed. My life flashed before my eyes.” To read more Click here.
