The reason Matiang’i prefers the Jubilee Party is because it is a national party. He doesn’t want to pick a small, tribal outfit based in Nyamira and run with it. 


And if Jubilee has lost some popularity, he will revive it — after all, he is ‘Mr. Fix It.’ Some people argue that he should not be associated with Jubilee because of Uhuru Kenyatta.
